What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal/Legal Assistant position at Pacific Disability Resources?
Social Security Disability is a program that assists people going through a difficult time in their lives. We are looking for a motivated individual that can be a compassionate consultant to those going through physical limitations that prevent them from working. We are seeking someone that wants to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, and is able to guide them through a process that can be overwhelming.
Qualified candidates will:
Be a consultant to people looking for information about Social Security Disability.
Place phone calls to potential clients that are seeking information about the process.
Inform potential clients of the process to get on disability.
Answer potential clients’ questions about the program.
Follow up with those that have expressed a need and interest in Social Security Disability.
Maintain computer, telephone, and other equipment.
Communicate any problems, concerns, or questions to supervisory staff.
Communicate respectfully and politely with potential clients at all time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
