Managed by a team that has over 100 years of combined experience in commercial facility maintenance, construction, and project management services, we offer commercial facility maintenance services along the I-5 corridor between Blaine and Chehalis, WA. We offer a broad range of expertise and services in maintaining commercial environments from retail spaces to hotels to apartment complexes to healthcare facilities. YOUR DAY
As our Senior Accountant and Bookkeeper, you expertly manage a comprehensive range of critical services to support our financial health and optimize our finance operations. Accuracy, organization, and timeliness are your top priorities as you skillfully oversee essential payroll, budgeting, auditing, tax filing, and accounts payable and receivable matters. You also take the initiative to enhance and streamline our processes by evaluating existing bookkeeping systems, analyzing accounting options, and making improvement recommendations. By balancing the day-to-day responsibilities with implementing new strategies for growth and development, you're vital to our short- and long-term success.
You compile and analyze account information to prepare asset, liability, and equity entries and document all transactions. Preparing balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements, you accurately summarize our financial status and help make informed accounting decisions. You conduct external and internal audits, ensure timely payroll processing, reconcile discrepancies, and lead month- and year-end closes. By adhering to GAAP principles and regulatory policies, you maintain our financial security and protect our integrity. You take on special projects as assigned, making a tangible impact on our company's success!
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT AND BOOKKEEPER REQUIREMENTS
- 6 years of relevant accounting experience
- 3 years of experience using QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience with bookkeeping and tracking financial transactions
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and scheduling abilities
- Commitment to acting with integrity and following ethical practices
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field would be preferred. Applicants with an associate degree and equivalent work experience may be considered.
