We are currently seeking a Golf Cart Set Up Technician at our Portland branch. This is a full-time position and is an awesome opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who is seeking a career outside of the standard day-to-day automotive industry role. Individuals interested in everything from small engine repair, electrical diagnosis, accessory installation and design, and equipment assembly can excel in this position. Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour DOE

Leave: 5 days vacation, 5 days sick, and 8 holidays
Hours: Day shift, M - F

JOB DETAILS:
- Assemble new golf carts for stock/fleet/retail sold and install any requested accessories.
- Cleaning and detailing units prior to sale
- Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure quality
- Point person for keeping track of the fleet set up process
- Potential to assist with diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of golf carts
- Assist other technicians, as needed
- Write service reports that accurately reflect work performed and parts used
- Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition
- Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance
- Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow
- Help maintain and support safety policies
- Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge required
- Golf industry experience a plus
- Basic set of hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic tools, a plus
- Need to be a team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to clearly follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be in good physical condition, requiring continuous lifting up to 50 pounds routinely during the course of a shift. This position requires heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting and pulling daily
- Current driver's license and reliable means of transportation and must be insurable
