Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary

The Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting our organization with the community, promoting our programs, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about outreach and engagement, capable of leading initiatives that support our mission. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting, program development, and public speaking, along with strong leadership skills to supervise outreach activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage the community and increase program participation.
• Conduct data collection and analysis to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings, delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
• Manage social media platforms to promote programs, share success stories, and engage with the community.
• Supervise staff involved in outreach activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to build partnerships that enhance program visibility.
• Assist in program development by identifying community needs and proposing solutions.

Experience

• Must have knowledge of Medicaid programs for state of Georgia.
• Proven experience in recruiting participants for programs.
• Strong background in data collection methods and analysis.
• Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising teams or projects.
• Familiarity with social media management for organizational promotion.
• Background in social work or addiction counseling is a plus, enhancing understanding of community needs.
• Experience in program development that addresses specific community challenges.

This role is part-time, Commission only.
