Working at the USS Arizona Memorial really gives you the opportunity to be a part of preserving a major piece of history. Nearly 2 million people from nearly every continent visit the USS Arizona Memorial each year, and we are looking for the most enthusiastic and energetic people to assist them at our museum shop. These positions are all day shift positions that work on a rotating schedule. This position is at our USS Arizona Memorial location.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Greet visitors in a welcoming manner
- Familiarity with WWII History helpful
- Accurately process guest purchases using cash, debit and credit cards
- Cross sell Pacific Historic Park memberships to customers
- Encourage guests to make donations to the park
- Keep store merchandised stocked and attractive at all times
- Occasionally assist with inventory and other special events that may be held outside of traditional work location and times
- Helping with marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and store promotions
- Sales goals : Working to meet and exceed sales & service goals
- Assist guests joining the standby line for the USS Arizona Memorial tour while inviting to get their Multimedia Tour before they start their tour to enhance their experience
- Accurately set up bookings and process payments for guests that are purchasing the Multimedia tours from the Narrated desk and Virtual Reality theater.
- Set up Virtual Reality experiences at the Virtual Reality Theater
- Other duties as assigned
