What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Pacific Homecare Services?
Responsibilities and Duties
· Provide administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to the EOR Department to maintain an efficient office environment
· Process EOR referrals and conduct welcome calls for new EOR families
· Maintain the EOR department’s email and respond to incoming emails
· Handle incoming phone calls
· Send service packets and review completed service packets for accuracy and completion
· Download, rename, and save care provider/consumer files in the appropriate drive
· Follow up with EOR families at 15, 30, 45, and 60-days from the date of referral
· Ensure all EOR applicants complete CPR/1st Aid training
· Cover for the EOR Fingerprint Office Assistant as needed
· Maintain confidentiality of our clients and care providers in compliance with HIPAA
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
· High School Diploma with 1 years of experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not mandatory
