Pacific International has been retained by a leading multi-site service provider backed by a top-tier private equity firm. The organization has experienced significant growth and is focused on scaling its operations while maintaining industry-leading service and operational excellence.
As part of this expansion, they are looking for a Director of Continuous Improvement, a key leadership role responsible for driving operational efficiency, standardizing processes, and leading transformative initiatives across multiple locations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will have a direct impact on optimizing workflows, reducing cycle times, and improving overall business performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Lead the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and optimize overall performance.
- Standardize operational procedures across multiple locations to ensure consistency and quality.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements and cost reduction strategies.
Change Management & Leadership
- Champion change management efforts, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and systems.
- Collaborate closely with regional managers and site-level teams to identify operational challenges and drive solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring teams in best practices and process optimization.
Strategic & Tactical Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term strategies to support business growth and operational scalability.
- Align improvement initiatives with overall company objectives, working in partnership with senior leadership.
- Lead key operational meetings and provide regular updates on performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
Customer & Employee Focus
- Enhance customer experience by implementing process improvements that increase service efficiency and quality.
- Promote a balanced approach between employee engagement, operational success, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a leader in building a culture of accountability, development, and high performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Seven to ten years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or lean management roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale process improvements across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
- Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making; familiarity with CCC is a plus.
- Background in a private equity-backed environment is beneficial.
