We are seeking a talented Data Architect to join our Pacific Life Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. As a Data Architect, you will plan, design, develop, optimize, and maintain the data architecture, data models, and standards for various Data Engineering projects. You will support data and analytics requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
You will understand data needs, regulatory requirements, and business goals, translating these into effective data solutions. You will ensure new features and subject areas are modeled to integrate with existing structures and provide a consistent view.
You will develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flows, and data models appropriate for various audiences, to facilitate knowledge transfer and compliance.
You will also provide direction on adoption and maturation of Cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake, etc.) and industry best practices in the field of data warehouse architecture and modeling.
You will work with governance teams to establish policies and procedures for data usage, quality, and security, particularly concerning regulatory and reporting requirements.
