Job Overview:
We are seeking a fluent Spanish and English-speaking Floor Translator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist supervisors and managers in effectively communicating with employees who are not fluent in English. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and fostering a cohesive work environment.
Duties:
- Facilitate verbal communication between supervisors/managers and employees who are not fluent in English.
- Assist employees in understanding instructions, procedures, and company policies.
- Translate written documents and communications from English to Spanish and vice versa as needed.
- Support employees in communicating their needs and concerns to supervisors and managers.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Strong proofreading skills
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus
- Background in Linguistics or related field is desirable
- Ability to interpret and convey complex ideas accurately
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to transcribe accurately
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred
