Salary Range : $21.00 to $23.00 an hour

PACT MSO has a busy Kidney Group with multiple locations seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Administrative Assistant to join their team. The position is to work in Orange, North Haven, West Haven, Branford and Fairfield and must be available to travel to all locations for coverage. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm.
This position supports a department, provider, or manager by performing duties as directed.
Essential Functions
- Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, follow up, etc.
- Responsible for schedule utilization, cancelation and wait list management
- Coordinates tests, procedures, and lab appointments for patients, obtain prior authorization
- Provide patients with information and respond to patient inquiries
- Enter patient information in EHR
- Phone Triage - documentation of communications in EHR
- Responsible for assignments / projects as delegated by management
- Checks in and checks out patients
- Assist with all patient portal questions
- Communicate information appropriately, accurately, and timely
