Field Service Technician

Reports to:  Regional Service Coordinator   Wage Range $26.44 - $28.44 DOE   Benefits & Perks of being a Pacific Mobile Employee: 7.5 Paid Holidays  2 additional Floating Holidays 80 hours PTO (Paid Time Off) effective on hire date 8 hours of Volunteer Time per year  Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage options 401(K) Retirement Benefits with Company Match Exercise Subsidy Plan, equal to $25 per month Quarterly Wellness Incentives Safety and Values Recognition Programs Years of Service Recognition Employee Development & Training Drug-Free, Safety-Focused Environment Full Time Position    Job Description Hours:  7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday or as determined by Management Perform 3 year maintenance and service calls on Mobile Offices at customer sites General repairs to mobile office units using carpentry and other skills relevant to the task Install/remove counter tops, plan tables and movable partition system Perform electrical troubleshooting in mobile/modular units as well as reworking electrical   Perform basic plumbing in mobile and modular units  Install security items such as deadbolts, latch guards, and security bars General cleaning of interior and exterior of mobile and modular units  Keep yard and working areas in a clean, working order Load units with foundation materials and entry systems Complete daily tasks as assigned by the Fleet Manager   Skills/Qualifications: 3 years verifiable experience working as a Carpenter, Foreman, or Field/Customer Service representative with limited to no supervision Strong customer service skills Above average knowledge of electrical and or mechanical systems General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repair Provide an acceptable driver’s abstract and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per Pacific Mobile standards Forklift certification preferred   Physical Requirements: Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for up to 8 hours Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted Work outside in all weather conditions Operate handheld power tools Wear personal protective equipment Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
