Description: Pacific Northwest Christian College (PNWCC) is committed to fulfilling its mission of reaching, motivating, and equipping college students for Christ-centered service in the church and community. We seek a qualified and passionate individual to join our faculty as an adjunct instructor in Remedial English. As an instructor at PNWCC, you will have the opportunity to go beyond teaching the subject matter. You can share your faith with students who do not know Christ and minister to their needs. You will be expected to help students develop skills and increase knowledge while guiding them in developing the character traits and life skills necessary for success.
Responsibilities
· Teach a remedial English writing course two days per week for 1.15 hours
· Engage students through effective instruction, discussions, and hands-on activities to promote learning and critical thinking.
· Assess student learning and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
· Maintain regular communication with students, colleagues, and departmental leadership.
Qualifications
· Minimum of a master’s degree in English or related degree from an accredited institution.
· Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the subject matter.
· Teaching experience at the college level is preferred but not required.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
