Responsibilities
As a key member of PNNL's Communications team, this role combines strategic relationship building with hands-on communications expertise. The position serves as both a trusted advisor and execution-focused communications professional supporting the Computing and Information Technology’s (CIT) Cloud Computing and digital transformation initiatives. CIT leads PNNL's digital transformation through the delivery of innovative cloud computing solutions, cybersecurity services, and enterprise technology platforms. Working at the intersection of Communications and CIT, this role translates complex technical initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that drive adoption and engagement across the Laboratory and elevates the Lab’s reputation in computing.
Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary communications liaison between CIT and Internal Communications, managing relationships and coordinating communications needs.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with technical stakeholders to understand their business priorities, challenges, and communications requirements.
- Proactively identify communications opportunities around technology initiatives.
- Align Cloud Computing communications efforts with Lab-Wide narratives and messaging frameworks.
