Hiring Range: $19.04-$23.80

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.
The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Arts in Medical Science, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five state region.
PNWU is located in Yakima, WA, a city of approximately 95,000 located in the south central part of the state near the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in a major agricultural and outdoor recreation region. General Summary:
The Assessment Manager oversees internal and external examination and/or assessment scheduling and reporting, as assigned for each academic program. Works closely with faculty/staff/students to build assessments, maintain gradebooks and provide accurate assessment details. Assists with software setup, training, and troubleshooting related to assessment software systems and serves as the subject matter expert and primary backup for specified assessment-related tasks. This position reports to the Director of Student Assessment.
Essential Job Functions:
• Serves as Chief Proctor and manager for various internal and external examinations and assessments, as assigned. This includes effective communication, scheduling, releasing scores, and working with other departments, as needed.
• Manages course gradebooks, as assigned.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for testing software processes and backs up other team members, as needed.
• Generates reports for all programs, departments or offices throughout the university, as assigned.
• Uploads assessment information to the learning management system and other software systems, as needed.
• Serves as a backup for assessment technology management; understands academic technology processes and can troubleshoot issues, as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.

• Required: 4-6 years
