Description
Position Highlights :
- Independently competent in performing all standard diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures including but not limited to diagnostic coronary angiography (natives and grafts), balloon angioplasty, coronary stenting, all types of atherectomy, ventriculography, aortography, right heart catheterization, and pericardiocentesis.
- On-call shared among the group with a 1 : 2 STEMI call on weeknights.
- Read EKGs, treadmill exercise studies, and on rare occasions, Holter and Event monitor studies.
- Basic understanding of, and troubleshooting skills with, pacemaker / ICD interrogation, interpretation, and programming.
- Works as part of an integrated team within the Department of Cardiology.
