Job Location: 600 - Administrative Offices - Seattle, WA
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/year
What you will do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder
- Release orders
- Process credit card and ACH payments through our third-party provider
- Work with customers and our related departments to resolve accounts receivable issues (short pays, deductions, reconciliation issues, etc.)
- Back-up for full cycle job account set up, per company guidelines
- Lien waiver completion and credit references
- Back up A/R for cash posting, deposits, processing credit applications per company guidelines, inputting new cash and credit accounts in the system, and account maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and co-workers
- Assist Credit Manager with personnel duties (from interviewing job candidates to assisting with department issues and helping to train employees)
- May help assist with miscellaneous projects; support team when Credit Manager has scheduled days off
- Learn multiple systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Who we are looking for:
- Associate degree or related certification required.
- Minimum 6 years of accounts receivable/credit experience required
- Minimum 5 years of B2B collections experience
- Minimum 2 years of lien waiver experience
- Familiarity with standard accounting procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
- Strong math skills and ability to reconcile accounts
- Analytical ability and high level of attention to detail
- Effective organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities as necessary
- Ability to understand and follow established procedures
- Effective written and verbal communication skills. Phone experience is a must!
- Ability to proactively identify issues and present options for solutions
- Ability to effectively work as a part of a team
- Wholesale / construction industry experience required
- Epicor P21 experience is a plus.
- Must have regular and predictable attendance
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude is a must
- Maintains calm demeanor throughout dynamic situations is a must
- Maintains confidentiality
- Have some flexibility to help cover departmental needs
- Desire to grow and learn and be challenged
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Onsite only. Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching.
- Ability to perform consistent work on PC.
- Ability to walk up stairs.
