QuickBooks experience is required.
Duties:
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial records and reports.
- Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain customer files and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide support for audits and other financial reporting requirements.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to process transactions and generate reports.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of technical accounting concepts is a plus.
