General Mechanic - Specializing in Trucks and Trailers
Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and skilled Trucks General Mechanic who specializes in trucks and trailers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, identifying and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, and maintaining the upkeep of trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of trucks and trailers, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and other general repairs.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in trucks and trailers, identifying the root cause of the issue, and providing effective solutions to repair or replace faulty components.
- Repairing and maintaining truck and trailer systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, and braking systems.
- Conducting safety inspections and ensuring that all vehicles are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on trucks and trailers.
