Outpatient Physical Therapy Technician

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Technician/Aide to join our outpatient medical and physical therapy practice in Owings Mills, MD.

This is an ideal role for someone who:

• Loves talking to people and helping people feel welcome
• Takes initiative and has a willingness to learn
• Enjoys interacting with diverse groups of people
• Has excellent communication skills and an upbeat personality
• Has experience working with patients in a medical setting
• Spanish speaking is a plus

Job Description:

• Monitoring daily operations of the office
• Assisting Physical Therapists as needed with in-person patient appointments
• On-boarding new patients and helping them fill out paperwork
• Help with scheduling and re-scheduling new patient and follow-up visits, x-ray appointments, and outside referrals
• Medical records retrieval via phone, fax, and email with outside providers and hospitals
• Routine upkeep of office cleanliness and managing office supply stock
• Entering patient/visit data and scanning paperwork into practice management software
