We are currently seeking a Per Diem Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for our Moses Lake location to provide the vocational component of an interdisciplinary pain management evaluation. Qualified candidates include counselors with experience working with an orthopedic, industrial rehab or pain management program; experience in a CARF-accredited outpatient rehabilitation program is a bonus!
This Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor provides the vocational evaluation for the Structured Intensive Multidisciplinary Program (SIMP). This includes assessment, treatment program planning and communication with individuals involved with patients for the evaluation recommendations.

Administrative
- Participates in an interdisciplinary team evaluation panel meeting for coordinating services.
- Clinical Responsibilities for team communications regarding the evidence-based practice plan of care.
- Conduct initial patient evaluations.
- Interacts with Clinic Manager and other management staff as needed, regarding ongoing program design.
- Documents, writes and coordinates patient evaluation report.
- Conducts vocational evaluations of potential patients. Provides written summary of evaluations.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation.
- Communicates with outside community partners
- Experience in an orthopedic, industrial rehab or pain management program is preferred.
- Must have excellent writing and documentation skills.
Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation counseling or related field and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor internship status with the Department of Labor and Industries.

Bachelor’s Degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling or related field and certification as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Department of Labor and Industries, including all required certifications.
