As an integral member of our Westport, Washington team, you will manage and troubleshoot ammonia, HVAC, boiler, and refrigeration systems. Your expertise in maintenance, calibration, installation, and repair will ensure these systems operate at peak efficiency through IIAR, RETA, and PSM guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities:- Technical Expertise: Lead operation and upkeep of ammonia and refrigeration systems while documenting and monitoring preventative maintenance procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Engage in successful project coordination with team members and contractors.
- Clear Communication: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- PSM Adherence: Administer PSM methodologies to minimize risks, fulfill regulatory standards, and uphold safety and compliance.
- Education and Training: Provide training and pursue personal learning opportunities in ammonia and refrigeration systems.
- Flexible Travel: Participate in trips along the West Coast as needed, from Alaska to Oregon.
Adaptability to additional roles may be required to align with organizational objectives.
Your Pathway to ContributionRequired Knowledge:
- Minimum of 2 years’ firsthand experience handling ammonia systems and working within PSM frameworks. Education and certification equivalences accepted.
- Knowledge of ammonia systems' mechanical and electric parts.
- Proficient in English for teamwork and documentation.
- Moderate computer skills, especially in system monitoring and data entry.
Preferred Background:
- Certification from RETA, IIAR, or like bodies desirable.
- Preferable experience in large-scale industrial refrigeration practices.
