Summary:
To perform all shipping and receiving duties, including materials handling and organization. Responsible for the daily shipping and receiving functions of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check and validate the accuracy of incoming materials
- Enter receipts into computer
- Print receiving tickets
- Identify received materials and deliver for storage/use
- Pull, package, and ship parts orders according to established procedures
- Track packages as requested Apply shipping charges to customer orders for invoicing
- Issue return authorizations
- Reconcile pallets
- Weigh outgoing product
- Load outgoing materials
- Put stock in designated locations, as needed
- Maintain a clean organized warehouse, dock and shipping office
- Scrap handling including preparation for pick-up
- Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts
- Report inventory discrepancies
- Consistently achieves shipment of products without delays or returns
- Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements/procedures at all times
- Read and interpret instructions to retrieve, assemble and prepare products/materials for shipment
- Operate site computerized system and perform required data entry
- Perform other duties, as assigned
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
- Forklift Certification
Salary Range: $16.80 to $18.56 per hour
