Pacific Sky Supply, Inc. is an aerospace manufacturer located in the Sun Valley, CA area seeking a Compressor Vane Assembly Technician that meets the following criteria described below;
Medium level position of experience that can work independently with minimal oversite. Performs assembly, in-process operations and dimensional inspections of compressor vane assemblies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Performing manual/mechanized assembly operations. Focus on assembly processes using hand tools, machinery, jigs, and other equipment and tooling.
· Responsible for completing first article dimensional reports using precision measuring equipment (caliper, height gauge, micrometer) with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
· Responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements.
· Must be able to follow published work instructions and manufacturing drawings.
Job Requirements:
· Looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
· Demonstrate ability to setup and monitor equipment through written and verbal instructions, read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
· Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Safety Sensitive Position; Subject to Random Drug & Alcohol Testing.
Physical Demands:
* Ability to stand for a total of up to (10) eight hours a day.
- Occasional reaching, walking, lifting a maximum of up to (15) fifteen pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
