Job Summary: The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing production processes and components for various projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, meeting production targets, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and environmental regulations, and providing technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process engineering and possess strong problem-solving and project-management skills with on-site experience.
Responsibilities:
· Attend the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
· Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of process changes.
· Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and control plans.
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process-related issues.
· Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate design. Review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
· Utilize advanced process simulation and modeling tools to predict and enhance process performance as needed.
· Manage process engineering projects, including timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
· Stay current with industry trends and advancements in process engineering to incorporate best practices into operations.
· Oversee and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in refinery operations and/or commissioning.
· Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, MATLAB).
· Strong understanding of process control, optimization, and statistical process control (SPC).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement projects.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Experience with value engineering.
· Experience of working with multinational teams is preferred.
· Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to walk and stand on uneven ground, including, wet, muddy, or icy conditions.

Work Environment
The work environment is typical of an office setting. Exposure to standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.) Offices are heated and air-conditioned, with noise levels typical of an office environment. This position will require onsite visits to construction, refinery, and cogeneration sites. Exposure to outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind. Sounds typical of a construction, refinery, or cogeneration site as well as exposure to construction machinery.

Total Compensation Range: $100,431.00 - $188,309.00

Compensation for roles at Pacific Soda varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Pacific Soda provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado.
Salary : $100,431 - $188,309
