What are the responsibilities and job description for the VISALIA 165-1 Operator 3rd Shift position at Pacific Southwest Container, LLC?
The successful bidder is responsible for the safe, conforming and efficient operation of the machine. The successful bidder will be responsible for the set up run and TPM of the machine. Additionally he/she must be able to work out both simple and complex folding/gluing sequences. The machine will be crewed with two assistants and manufacturing associate as required. The ability to direct people is required.
SPECIAL EDUCATION SKILLS, TRAINING OR QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB: The successful bidder must be knowledgeable in all normal box plant skills. Must be able to think in spatial terms to solve complex folds. Mathematical skills to convert to decimals. Reasonable tool knowledge. Ability to perform basic computer functions is required. Six to twelve months experience on this or related equipment is needed.
Must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
TRIAL PERIOD REQUIRED: 90 Days
