Job Requirements
Our manufacturing plant and warehouses operating in a clean and organized manner is paramount to our success. This role has the responsibility and takes overall ownership of the plant's condition in terms of organization, cleanliness, and readiness. This role has the responsibility of keeping the plant in a presentable condition that are aligned with our values. Cleanliness as well as organization has direct impact on safety, it is critical we operate the plant in a clean and safe manner. This position will report to the Facilities Manager. Must be able read write and speak English.
Facility Cleaning Specialist Duties/Responsibilities
- Understand all aspects of cleaning all facilities and warehouse areas
- Painting
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting and Cobweb removal
- Empty waste receptacles
- Operate floor sweeper/scrubber (sit down and stand behind)
- Washing walls and floors utilizing hand tools and pressure washer
- Inside/Outside window cleaning
- Report all cleaning equipment faults
- Cleaning outside grounds
- Take and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and tools as needed
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Actively promote good safety and environmental practices
Required Qualifications
- Attention to Detail
- Good communication: Both written and verbal communication is essential.
- Willing to work overtime as needed including weekends
- Willing to work outside
- Forklift experience a plus but not required
