Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our companies. Yes, that's right, our companies. We are looking for someone who is willing and able to perform several skills in helping in the operation of two companies located here in Steamboat.
One of the jobs we need you for is help wit the operation of our paddleboard shop and kiosk at the lake. For a few days each week, you will engage customers and help them get on the water to paddle. You will be trained to size up a customer and fit them with the proper gear and board. Some days you will work at the lake and somedays at the shop where you may be required to drive shuttle so as to deliver and pickup gear and customers. Tips are an additional way to increase your pay, and our visitors tip generously to those who excel at customer service.
The other job would be working for our pool and hot tub company, where you will be trained to clean and service pools and hot tubs. This job requires attention to detail so as to make sure the pools and hot tubs are clean and usable for our guests.
Duties for Paddleboard Adventure Company
- Good customer service skills.
- Physically able to move, load and unload, boards and other watercraft.
- Handle pressure situations peacefully.
- Drive a shuttle vehicle.
Duties for Pacific Spas and Pools
- Attention to detail, good at problem solving.
- Self-motivated and personal pride in a job well done.
- Drive a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- No previous experience is required. We will train the right persons.
- A healthy understanding of working in a team.
- Any experience with paddle sports is helpful.
- Any experience with pools and hot tubs is helpful.
