We are recruiting a driven Office Manager to partner with the CEO for a growing Veterinary Surgery practice in Sacramento. Our client offers health benefits, PTO, retirement IRA with 3% match, continuing education reimbursement and a team with long-term tenure. The Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, remains profitable, and communicates effectively with clients and the community. Pay range: 65k - 75k
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and dynamic operations leader with a broad skill set and experience that spans human resources, marketing, and financial management.
PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Human Resources Management:
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.
- Handle employee relations, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Marketing & Social Media:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the veterinary practice, including digital and traditional campaigns.
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), create engaging content, and interact with followers.
- Monitor and respond to online reviews, improving the practice’s online reputation.
- Coordinate community outreach programs and promotional events.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the practice’s budget, monitor cash flow, and ensure profitability.
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost-saving and revenue growth.
- Coordinate with accountants or financial advisors for tax and compliance matters.
General Administration:
- Handle the day-to-day administrative tasks, including office organization, supplies ordering, and vendor management.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle IT operations and communicate with IT company for necessary improvements and repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 5 years’ experience in the capacity of an Office Manager, Operations/Administrative Manager or Practice Manager.
- High School Diploma required. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience administration of Human Resources, including employee relations, employee benefits, company policies and CA labor laws is required.
- Bookkeeping experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications and QuickBooks required.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in managing multiple social media platforms, online reviews and marketing content creations.
- Prior experience in Project Management, implementing of policies and continual efficiencies a plus.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
