Job Information:
We need an experienced lead fabricator/welder who can read blueprints, tape measures and calipers to join our team. The goal for this position is to find a qualified candidate who can be a leader and work their way into a foreman position within the company. We are looking for someone who has worked with sheet metal, stainless steel, and aluminum and has at least three years of TIG welding experience. Requirements:
- Finishing experience
- Previous TIG welding experience: Minimum of 3 years
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
- Successful candidates will have strong math abilities
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 60 occasionally
- Willing and able to assist in training others
- Willing to work into the lead position/foreman role
Duties:
- Weld, grind, and polish stainless steel sheet metal and tube frame assemblies
- Assemble, tacking, and tig welding of light gauge sheet metal parts
- Grinding sanding, polishing, and blending of stainless back to a #4 finish
- Read prints and transfer bend information
- Follow procedures and instructions in a custom, fast-paced environment
Hours: Standard shop hours are Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime hours
