Pacific States Environmental Contractors, Inc., Northern California’s premier environmental contractor, is seeking a Contract Administrator to be a part of our team in the Dublin office. The ideal candidate would bring knowledge of contractual requirements within the construction industry and the ability to offer contractual guidance during all stages of projects. Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist Estimators to prepare, compare, process and execute subcontractor, hauler and consulting agreements.
- Procure and provide timely updates to project insurance for new and existing clients.
- File preliminary notices for projects and assist Estimating team with bid closings.
- Coordinate subcontract process, ensuring effective internal communication, governance and subcontractor collaboration using contract management system.
- Administer minority hiring requirements (Good Faith Efforts) by posting ads, issuing solicitations and assembling submittal packages for agency review.
- Prepare job folders and provide general support to the Estimating Team.
- Interpret and ensure contractual compliance requirements for prime and subcontract documents.
- Review project documents and procedures to maintain alignment with prime contracts and city code requirements.
- Facilitate legal reviews and governance processes in accordance with project and joint venture partner requirements.
- Assist with quarry and landfill coordination.
- Maintain understanding of insurance programs.
- Manage office administrative tasks including coordinating meeting lunch orders and stocking supplies.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ construction industry experience managing contract administration or similar role.
- Proven successful leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, high volume setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, and Acrobat Adobe.
- Team player, detail oriented.
- Required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
