Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. is an on-site fueling company servicing California and Reno, focusing on delivering products like diesel, unleaded, and propane. It all started in May of 2001 with one fuel truck, a small location in Pleasant Hill, and a big idea. The idea was to deliver smaller than usual quantities of fuel to customer locations while providing unparalleled customer service. The schedule for this position will be 4 – 10’s, Tuesday through Friday, and must be also willing to work occasional Saturday or Sundays. Please only apply if you are willing to work this schedule.
Responsibilities
- This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations and deliver propane
- Achieve daily delivery objectives set forth by the dispatch team
- Operate company vehicle in a safe, efficient and courteous manner
- Inspect vehicle daily and report problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety, sales, operations, and customer service
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Class (CDL) A or B driver’s license with clean DMV driving record
- Hazardous and Tanker endorsement required
- Good reading and writing skills
- Communication skills and willingness to take directions from dispatch team
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and pull equipment from 50 to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in all-weather/driving conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working with and delivering propane
