POSITION SUMMARY:

A Site Clean Up Crew member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of a designated work site by performing various cleaning tasks, including debris removal, sweeping, trash disposal, and general upkeep, ensuring a safe and organized working environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

• Sweep floors in designated areas.

• Remove trash and debris from work surfaces and floors.

• Dusting and wiping down equipment.

• Empty bins in designated areas and replace bins regularly.

Debris Removal:

• Utilize appropriate tools like shovels, rakes, and brooms to clear debris.

• Load and transport debris to designated disposal areas.

• Forklift and machine operation experience preferred.

Specialized Cleaning Tasks:

• Air Wand Dusting of equipment within facility

• Regular maintenance of equipment.

• Remove spills and stains from floors and surfaces.

• Willingness to take initiative to maintain and enhance the work environment.

Safety and Compliance:

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for handling ferrous and nonferrous materials.

• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Collaborate with other crew members to efficiently complete cleaning tasks.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

• Basic cleaning knowledge and experience.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

• Basic understanding of safety protocols.

• Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
