What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Clerk position at Pacific Steel?
KEY RESULTS:
This position:
1) Correctly sorts incoming mail for distribution and outgoing branch mail as scheduled.
2) Accurately sorts and files invoices, statements, bank drafts, cash books, and other accounting
documents as required and scheduled.
3) Accurately prepares bank deposits.
4) Accurately and timely balances branch cash books.
5) Accurately enters accounting data into computer system.
6) Assists with other clerical duties as assigned including, but not limited to, customer service and sales, minor purchasing, and order processing.
7) Demonstrates commitment to be present and work all hours assigned as needed.
8) Willingly performs and completes any work assigned in an efficient, safe and productive manner.
9) Cooperates with employees, branch personnel, customers, suppliers and others with honesty,
integrity and respectful manner.
10) Willingly complies with all regulatory requirements, including federal, state, local, company and
customer statutes or rules.
11) Effectively communicates with management and co-workers.
12) Manages time efficiently.
13) Accepts responsibility for own decisions and actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Organizational ability.
