Job Overview

The Project Manager (PM) plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning through to project completion. The PM will work closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination and Oversight: Manage and supervise all phases of the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and safety compliance.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all work is completed on schedule and according to project specifications.
- Project Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update the project schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Budget Management: Assist in the creation of project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that costs are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contract Administration: Manage contract documentation, subcontracts, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work on-site, ensuring all work adheres to construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, propose solutions, and take necessary actions to mitigate issues and avoid delays.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment and resolution of any project issues.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, both internally and to clients, documenting key milestones, project status, and challenges.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, ensure safety, and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Document Control: Oversee project documentation, ensuring that all plans, RFIs, submittals, and other important documents are properly stored, tracked, and accessible.
Skills and Abilities
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing construction projects from inception to completion, with a solid understanding of project management principles.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills between clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify challenges early and develop effective solutions to ensure the project stays on track.
- Construction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, contract documents, and construction site operations.
- Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Experience in project budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction software such as BlueBeam, Procore, MS Excel, and other project management tools.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to (3) hours to a jobsite as needed.
- Safety Focus: Knowledge of OSHA standards and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment on all projects.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
