This position is a Federal Work Study (FWS) position for the 24-25 Academic year. Office is located on the first floor of Marsh Hall on the Forest Grove Campus. In person only, no remote availability. Position pays Oregon Minimum Wage $15.95 an hour on a Biweekly basis.

General office environment with public contact. Financial aid office hours are Monday - Friday from 9-5. No remote availability.

General Description of Position
- Assist students, employees and the public via walk-ins and telephone in answering questions or referring questions to the appropriate Financial Aid team member for a timely response;
- Scan and archive student financial aid files.
- Support Financial Aid Counselors by auditing information and reviewing student communication before it is sent out on a case-by-case basis.
- Assist with filing and records keeping.
- Lift and transport items to and from our storage unit in Clark Hall.
- Assist with creative office projects i.e., arts and crafts, signage, and digital content.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS
- Communicates effectively and appropriately with a variety of customers, including students, faculty, staff and the public.
- Builds on basic learning and carries it from one situation to another
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills in problem solving and decision-making;
- Ability to maintain accuracy in numerous detailed record-keeping tasks
- Maintains proper appearance and personal conduct for the employee's particular job.
- Confidentiality and compliance with FERPA laws must be maintained at all times. Mandatory training provided.
- Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.
