Located in Forest Grove across the street from the Pacific University campus. Most work can be completed remotely, but meeting and productions happen on-site. $15.95/hr
Theatre in the Grove is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality, live community theatre entertainment for the Forest Grove
community and surrounding area, in addition to providing educational resources and classes in the theatrical arts. Additionally, Theatre in the Grove advocates for local, regional, and state arts and culture while fostering an environment for patrons, members, volunteers, cast, and crew that is welcoming of all, no matter race, sexual orientation, gender identity, country of origin, economic status, religion, abilities or disabilities, or age.
Students would benefit from working with us as a means to gain experience in the full range of creation, promotion, and production of the arts in their local community.

Requirements
Students majoring in Theatre, English Literature, Arts Administration and Advocacy, Communication, Journalism, Theatre, and Business Administration are ideal candidates, though students from outside those majors are welcome to also apply. We ask that students who apply are juniors or seniors in terms of the number of course credits they have attained. Previous internship experience is not required, but is preferred. Student will need to have access to their own computer and means of transportation.

Tasks and Responsibilities include
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs of the theatre space, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization to create a welcoming environment for patrons and performers.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events, contributing to the seamless execution of productions.
- Work as part of the front of house crew for productions, ensuring a positive experience for our audience members.
- Undertake general maintenance tasks, including taking out trash and handling minor fixes, to uphold the overall condition of the theatre.
- Assist with costume and prop management, overseeing organization and maintenance to support the creative aspects of productions.
- Participate in promotional activities, such as distributing flyers and assisting in social media efforts to increase awareness of upcoming productions.
- Provide support and assistance to productions as needed, contributing to the smooth running of rehearsals and performances.
- Assist in coordinating auditions, managing sign-ins, distributing materials, and offering logistical support to casting directors.
- Contribute to lighting and sound setups, actively engaging in the technical aspects of productions.
- Engage in outreach activities, including community events and educational programs, to broaden the theatre's presence in the local community.
- Actively participate in post-show discussions and evaluations, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement
