What are the responsibilities and job description for the NWS - Remote Learning Assistant position at Pacific University?
This position is only open to current Pacific University Students.
As part of the Department of Education Inclusive and Accessible Digital Learning grant, and in cooperation with the Libraries, UIS Technology Helpdesk will be hiring student workers to assist faculty in the upcoming Spring ‘25 and Fall ‘25 terms who desire tech help during their online and hybrid classes.
Remote Learning Assistants provides first-level technical support to students, faculty, and staff for online and remote learning. This position involves troubleshooting for classroom technology used in remote and hybrid learning. As well as common account issues, computer hardware and software issues, providing technical guidance, and assisting users with technology-related questions. The successful candidate will possess good problem-solving skills, customer service abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Length of Employment: Spring Semester 2025 and Fall Semester 2025
Wage Rate: $15.95 / Hour (subject to change per Oregon employment guidelines).
