Pacific View Senior Living, Bandon’s premier assisted living and memory care community, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Manager to join our team! This position plays a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a warm, welcoming, and well-coordinated dining experience each day.
Position Overview:
The Dining Room Manager oversees the daily operations of our dining room and supervises the dietary aides/servers. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, staff scheduling, training, and task management, while also supporting and executing events and holiday celebrations in partnership with our Activities Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, support, and schedule dietary aides/servers
- Provide leadership and training to ensure high standards of customer service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining environment
- Oversee dining room setup, mealtime flow, and cleanup
- Partner with the Activities Director to execute dining-related events, holiday celebrations, and special meals
- Communicate effectively with residents and families to ensure satisfaction
- Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate meal service
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, assist with onboarding and ongoing training
- Ensure all regulatory, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
