Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Ecommerce Intern to support our digital team with research, data organization, and operational tasks. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with data, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in ecommerce.

The intern will play a crucial role in researching industry trends, SEO best practices, and competitor strategies, maintaining accurate product information, organizing naming conventions, and managing reference files. They will work extensively with Excel and various data sources to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market and competitor research to support ecommerce strategy.
• Perform SEO research and keyword analysis to optimize product listings and content.
• Assist in developing and maintaining naming conventions for product listings and internal files.
• Organize and manage reference files, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Use Excel to track, analyze, and organize data related to product performance, trends, and research findings.
• Verify and validate research data for accuracy and completeness.
• Create ad hoc reports to provide insights into ecommerce performance, sales trends, and marketing effectiveness.
• Support additional administrative and digital commerce tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be a junior or senior currently pursuing or have recently completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and ecommerce search optimization.
• Ability to interpret data and create clear, actionable reports.
• Must be able to commute to the LA office in a hybrid modality
• Must be able to work minimum 25 hours per week
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data management.
• Positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
• Must be able to commit to an internship of up to 3 months.
• Interest in the beauty, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus.
