Job Summary
The Marketing and Admissions Associate works in the Office of Advancement, directly supporting activities, operations, and projects. They are tasked with contributing to the marketing & admissions efforts of the school, including admissions operations, digital advertising, email marketing, website support, SEO optimization, web analytics, and event support. The role supports both the marketing and admissions departments who work in tandem to support enrollment efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing (50%)
- Support the Director of Marketing as an institutional storyteller, capturing the ethos of the hallways, classrooms, and playing fields and driving the content pipeline to consistently create and deliver compelling communications for the entire Pacifica community;
- SEO optimization: Implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs) by utilizing relevant keywords and optimizing website structure
- Paid advertising campaigns:
Managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, NICHE, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to reach targeted demographics. - Email marketing campaigns:
Support the Director of Marketing in designing and executing email marketing campaigns and automated email sequences to nurture leads and drive conversions. - Website Management
Maintain and upkeep the website, making changes and improvements and ensuring brand consistency - Web analytics and reporting:
Support the Director of Marketing in tracking website traffic, analyzing user behavior, and generating reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. - Support the Director of Marketing in executing a strategic communication plan that supports internal and external communication efforts, incorporating consistent themes that support the strategic initiatives and priorities of Pacifica Christian.
- Help support the Director of Marketing to provide marketing services and communications support to departments school-wide (Advancement, Admissions, Athletics, Academics, Arts, Minchin, College Counseling. etc.
Admissions (50%)
In the admissions office, the marketing and admissions associate will focus on operations, setting up the Director and Associate Director of Admissions to be the forward faces of the department.
- Manage the infrastructure, scheduling, and details for interviews, shadow days, tours, and events
- Manage the admissions database, including inquiries, applications, and weekly/monthly reporting. Prepare quarterly board reports. Become an expert with finalsite.
- Organize and track admissions event RSVPs and attendance.
- Conduct follow-up phone calls to prospective families.
- Develop and distribute admissions-related marketing materials to attract prospective families.
- Attend and support admissions and school events, Open houses, Visit Pacifica Days, parent coffees, school visits, accepted student receptions, the Gathering…

Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced school environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in marketing.
- Experience in digital marketing, web management and optimization, and operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM/admissions software.
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
