We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Analyst to join our team.
This position will be responsible for optimizing operations of our multifamily portfolio. Conducting comprehensive audits of our properties, ensuring compliance with company policies, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asset Management, Investments or Acquisitions, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough audits of our multifamily properties, including residential units, common areas, and facilities.
- Evaluate property management operations to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
- Review financial records, budgets, and expenses to identify areas of weakness, discrepancies, and irregularities.
- Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to assess the overall condition and maintenance of properties.
- Verify lease agreements, rent rolls, and tenant records for accuracy.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to property management teams based on audit results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
- Ability to travel extensively to our multifamily properties.
- Proven experience in asset management, preferably in the multifamily or real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of multifamily property operations and financial management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations (preferred).
