Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end development process of fasteners and screws, from conceptualization to prototyping and final production.
- Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to fastener technology.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and technical documentation for new fasteners and screws and/or understanding of such.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure products meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturability requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials for fastener production, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to validate the performance and reliability of developed fasteners.
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of new fastener designs into the production process.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and contribute to product positioning.
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fastener and screw development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards related to fasteners.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S
