We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of :
DIRECTOR OF NURSING / SUBACUTE
Reporting directly to the Administrator Subacute / Skilled Nursing Services, the DIRECTOR OF NURSING / SUBACUTE is a member of the Hospital’s subacute Leadership Team who assures provisions of effective, high quality patient care within the Subacute Unit. The DIRECTOR OF NURSING develops and maintains an environment that supports excellence in clinical nursing practice and is accountable for managing human, fiscal and other resources to assure quality and effective patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- 24-hour responsibility for the overall nursing management of the department / unit(s)
- Recommends and implements changes necessary for a positive work environment
- Working with leadership, develops and implements the mission, objectives, policies and standards for nursing care within the SubAcute Unit.
- Ensures that nursing practice goals meet changes within the healthcare environment
- Ensures appropriate staffing meeting requirements of Title 22
