What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech III / Ultrasound Tech position at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley?
The RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST III (ULTRASOUND), performs general diagnostic hospital based diagnostic radiology procedures in a variety of clinical settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides patient education prior to examination.
- Produces diagnostic images (Ultrasound) utilizing a variety of equipment.
- Assists in Performing sterile technique procedures as required.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- Ultrasound Certification Required
- Previous relevant experience in an acute care environment (Preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated computer competencies
- Excellent organizational skills
