What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Pacifica Hotels?
Pacifica Hotels is searching for a Laundry Attendant to join the team at The Belamar Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for washing, drying and folding of the hotel linen.
Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Sort linens for washing.
- Check for stains and treat appropriately.
- Wash, dry, fold linen.
- Run linen and deliver as requested.
- Store linen in appropriate location.
- Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Report any missing/found articles or damage to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Assist with room attendant duties as needed.
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Pay Range: $17.28-$18.00 per hour
