PRIVATE EQUITY ANALYST/ASSOCIATE
Company Overview
Private investment firm founded in 2000 with holdings in real estate and diverse base of operating businesses in industries such as real estate, hotels, oil & gas, technology and etc. We have investments in Hawaii, U.S. mainland, overseas.
Our investment philosophy and approach is often referred to as “special situations,” where we seek to find deep value in complex situations. Once we acquire an asset, we attempt to de-clutter the complexity, and create value through fundamental operating improvements.
Company has been divesting of its businesses overseas and have been focusing on its investments in the U.S., specifically in real estate, hospitality and growth companies. Looking for a highly motivated Real Estate Analyst/Associate who is a self starter to assist with existing portfolios consisting of hotels, real estate and oil & gas as well as potential new acquisitions. Looking for analyst/associate level professional to work directly for the founding partner and other partners of the firm.

Hotel, development and/or real estate experience a plus. Experience at large investment banks, accounting or consulting firm a plus.
As the foundation of the organization will be centered on data driven analysis and data driven decision making, we are looking for someone who has an aptitude and experience in quantitative analysis, economics, statistics, financial modeling and/or programming. Ability to write investment memorandums, perform due diligence, powerpoint presentations a plus. Further, demonstrated ability to lead deals and projects effectively and efficiently. Passion for value creation and increasing the size of the pie through ad hoc problem solving and results oriented execution.
Position can vary depending on experience and candidate’s ability contribute to the organization
Pre-requites:
- 4 year degree from a top school
- Minimum of 4 years experience – financial modeling, research, writing, etc.
- Ability to manage and adjust to a diversified base of businesses
- A mind focused on efficiency and productivity
- Experience that demonstrates achievement of excellence a plus
Compensation Range:
- $85,000 to $120,000
