- Pacifico Hyundai is looking for a parts manager that has the following abilities;
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
- Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts, and the do-it-yourself public.
- Establishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
- Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.
- Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
- Ensures that all parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the factory.
- Supervises stock order procedures.
- Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
- Works with the service manager and body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
You must be able to support and assist our wholesale manager with his large customer base.
You must be able to work as a partner with our Service Manager and Body shop manager.

The Auto Parts Manager must also perform the following duties :
Our Ideal Candidate Auto Parts Manager will possess a minimum of 2-5 years of Expertise as a Parts Manager or Parts Counterperson. They will run the Daily Operation of the Parts Department to achieve Sales and Productivity Objectives. This Person must be an Excellent Leader and be able to Manage a Staff of Parts Advisors. This person must have prior Automotive Dealership Parts Management Experience at a Domestic or Foreign Car Dealership. This Person must have either ADP or Reynolds & Reynolds Computer Experience. The Auto Parts manager is responsible for developing Parts operations, gross profit and expense controls.
