Job Title: Journeyman Estimator
A Journeyman Estimator represents the company when meeting with customers to determine load requirements and advise on service needs. They are qualified to perform all estimating functions related to building, rebuilding, and maintaining electric facilities.
- Meet with new customers to discuss their needs
- Document correspondence and work assignments in accordance with Customer Guarantees procedures
- Prepare right-of-way easements and conduct field surveys
- Assist with load studies, construction planning, budget preparation, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory
- Practical and detailed knowledge of construction specifications, electrical codes, rates, and service policies
