Journeyman Estimator
PacifiCorp is seeking customer-centric candidates to grow and sustain our commitment to a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company in meetings with customers to determine load requirements and advise on service needs.
- Have a basic knowledge of marketing programs and company initiatives to serve customers.
- Perform estimating functions for building, rebuilding, and maintaining electric facilities.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of electrical theory, construction specifications, codes, rates, and policies.
Typical Duties
- Meet with new customers to understand their needs.
- Document correspondence and work assignments according to Customer Guarantees procedures.
- Prepare right-of-way easements, conduct field surveys, process crossing permits, and design expenditure requisitions.
- Assist with load studies, construction planning, budget preparation, and other duties as assigned.
