PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled and experienced electrical systems technician to join our power distribution team. As a Journeyman Lineman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing transmission and distribution electrical systems and associated equipment.
Responsibilities:
Your duties will include installing new lines and services, performing maintenance on existing infrastructure, and repairing damaged or faulty equipment. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment, including line trucks, aerial boom lifts, and wire pulling gear. Additionally, you will operate switches, cutouts, and grounding devices to ensure safe working conditions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as completion of a formal training program for a Journeyman Lineman. You must also meet examining board review of skills and experience and pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power. Hot stick training and experience are highly desirable.
